A multi vehicle traffic crash slows a busy intersection in Branson on Saturday.

Today, August 15th at 1137, Engine 1 and Truck 2 and Battalion 1 in conjunction with local area law enforcement and Taney County Ambulance District responded to a multi vehicle accident near the Highway 65 northbound on-ramp and Bee Creek Road.
Crews arrived on scene and found multiple vehicles with heavy damage from a high speed vehicle accident. Fire crews and EMS worked to triage and extricate multiple patients from the damaged vehicles.
The intersection was shut down for an extended period of time while crews helped coordinate patient care, vehicle removal, and roadway cleanup. Multiple individuals were transported by ambulance to trauma centers. Crews operated on scene for approximately 1 hour.
