The Western Taney County Fire Protection District deal with a pair of emergencies in Hollister Monday.
According to releases on the district’s Facebook Page, firefighters work a traffic crash near Station Number Five on BB Highway as a dump truck filled with dirt overturned forcing the closure of BB between Knox and Jane Street.
Also on Monday, firefighters were called to Point Lookout Nursing Home on Taney County 165 for a report of a commercial dryer on fire. By the time firefighters arrived, the fire was out but smoke remained which the department was able to eject with the use of fans.
No reports of injuries in either incident.
