Two residents of Stone County are in serious condition after a Thursday evening crash in Taney County.
According to the accident report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 20-year-old woman from Crane was driving her car westbound on Highway 160 west of Walnut Shade when she fell asleep after which her vehicle ran off the highway and struck a rock bluff.
The driver and a 17-year-old juvenile female from Galena who was a passenger in the car were taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment of their injuries.
