Senator Brad Hudson Gets Two Bills Signed Into Law

Missouri Republican State Senator Brad Hudson gets two bills to the finish line in this past Legislative Session.

In releases from the Senator's office in addition to a recent interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, Hudson reviews Senate Bill 999, the Born Alive Abortion Survivor’s Protection Act, which requires that children who survive an abortion be provided with the same medical care of any child of the same gestational age. Hudson also discusses Senate Bill 1000, which reestablishes the Missouri Tourism Supplemental Revenue Fund that receives a general revenue transfer from the Missouri General Assembly to maintain the operations of the Missouri Division of Tourism and the Missouri Film Office. The fund was accidentally sunset in 2020 amidst updates to the formula for funding tourism.
