Rockaway Beach Man Faces Charges in Shooting Incident

An incident this week has led to the arrest of a man from Rockaway Beach.

According to court documents, Robert Dixon told a person walking by his house on Monday he would apologize to his daughter for an argument that took place last week or he would be shot. Dixon had a rifle in his hand and fired in the direction of the victim. When Taney County Deputies later went to his home to make contact, he barricaded himself in the residence requiring the Special Response Team to help bring him into custody.

Dixon is facing three felony and a misdemeanor charge for the incident and is currently being held without bail in the Taney County Jail.
