Today, we’re proud to celebrate the completion of the new Reno Springs Road Bridge over Bear Creek!

This project replaces the previous bridge with a new, wider, single-span structure designed to provide a safer and more reliable route for residents, emergency services, school buses, and visitors. Located in an area that frequently experiences flooding, these improvements will help strengthen this important connection for our community.

In addition to the new bridge, the project included roadway reconstruction and resurfacing, new guardrails, and significant erosion protection measures to help stabilize the roadway and protect it for years to come.

This important investment was made possible through a partnership between MoDOT Off‑System Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation (BRO) funding and Taney County’s soft match credit program.

Thank you to our engineers, contractors, MoDOT partners, and everyone involved in bringing this project to completion.

We’re excited to officially open this improved route and celebrate another step forward for Taney County’s infrastructure!
