Forsyth man searches ‘what is statutory rape’ after alleged crime, deputies say

FORSYTH, Mo. — A Taney County man has been arrested after being accused of rape on Monday, Jan. 19.

According to online court dockets, Caleb Stoneburner, born in 2006, of Forsyth, Missouri, has been charged with first-degree rape – aggravated sexual offense in Taney County Circuit Court. He has pleaded not guilty.

The probable cause statement says the Taney County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation into the incident, where the victim was identified as a 13-year-old, and Stoneburner was 19 years old at the time.
