Branson Entertainer Responds to Resurfaced Allegations

The announcement of national legislation to approve a law already in effect in Missouri has spurred reaction after comments made during a press conference.

The press conference, held last week in Washington and coordinated by bill co-sponsor Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, was about the proposed "Trey's Law" legislation that prohibits the use of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) in the settlement of child abuse sexual harassment cases. The law passed in Missouri as well as Texas in 2025 and now is being consideration at the federal level by the U.S. Congress.

One of the speakers at the press conference was Jayden Harris, who stated that the passage of Trey's Law helped her be able to tell her story. She told her story about the settlement negotiations with who she identified as her abuser, Branson Entertainer Reza.

That brought about many comments on social media which led to a response sent to Ozarks Dynacom News from Lucas Case on behalf of Reza's Office of Public Relations. The statement reads in part :

"More than a year ago, Reza voluntarily submitted to an independent third-party polygraph examination regarding these allegations. The results indicated no deception when he denied the claims made against him. The civil claims that were previously brought against Reza were resolved through a voluntary settlement by all parties before the enactment of “Trey’s Law.” The settlement contained no admission of wrongdoing or liability by Reza. The claimants had the option to pursue their allegations through a jury trial where evidence could have been presented in a court of law, but instead chose to resolve the matter through settlement."

The statement later says that no criminal charges have been field against Reza and that he remains focused on his work as an entertain and a member of the Branson Community. That statement also says that multiple threats have been made against Reza and those have been forwarded to the proper authorities. The full statement can be found at the end of this story.

Last year, a settlement was reached between Reza Borchardt and two former workers at his show, one now identified as Harris, on the accusations of incidents of sexual misconduct during their time with the show.

Recent social media posts have circulated accusations alleging that Reza committed acts of sexual assault. Those accusations are categorically untrue.

More than a year ago, Reza voluntarily submitted to an independent third-party polygraph examination regarding these allegations. The results indicated no deception when he denied the claims made against him.

The civil claims that were previously brought against Reza were resolved through a voluntary settlement by all parties before the enactment of “Trey’s Law.” The settlement contained no admission of wrongdoing or liability by Reza. The claimants had the option to pursue their allegations through a jury trial where evidence could have been presented in a court of law, but instead chose to resolve the matter through settlement.
Unfortunately, the spread of misinformation online has created a dangerous environment. As a direct result of these false and misleading accusations, Reza has received multiple threats to his personal safety. These threats are being taken seriously and have been referred to the appropriate authorities.

Before repeating or publishing accusations of serious criminal conduct, the following facts should be recognized:
● No criminal charges have ever been filed against Reza
● No court has ever found Reza liable for or guilty of any wrongdoing
● The civil settlement included no admission of liability by Reza
● Reza had no financial contribution in the settlement
● Reza voluntarily submitted to and passed an independent polygraph examination
● Reza categorically denies the assault allegations
● False accusations circulating online have already resulted in threats to his personal safety

Branson is a community built around live entertainment and the people who support it. Over the past 11 years, Reza has provided employment for many individuals and contributed to the local entertainment industry that supports numerous families in the region.

Reza deserves the same fairness and due process as anyone else. Repeating unverified accusations online can cause serious harm not only to an individual’s reputation but also to their safety and livelihood.

Statements that falsely accuse a person of criminal conduct are serious matters under the law. Those responsible for publishing or repeating defamatory claims should understand that such actions may carry legal consequences.

Reza remains focused on continuing his work as an entertainer and member of the Branson community while these matters are addressed through the proper legal channels.
