William (Bill) was born in Buffalo, New York, later moving to Artesia, California, where he lived for over 40 years before moving to the Rockaway Beach/Forsyth, Missouri area, where he resided until his passing.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Sandra Wallmann; he is survived by his wife of 70 years, Prescious Wallmann; daughter Gail Besler and her husband Randall Besser; daughter Billie Richard; daughter Tammy Borges and her husband Joe Borges; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Bill served in the US Navy during the Korean War from 1947 – 1952.
He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, who will be truly missed.
Visitation for Bill will be on Fri., March 4, at Whelchel Grace Funeral Home from 1:30 PM until service time at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO., at a later date.
