Sue Ann Call, age 89, passed away on February 5, 2026.
Cherished mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Sue Ann Call, entered into rest on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at the age of 89.
Sue was born on December 5, 1936 in Chicago, IL. At the age of 9, her family moved from the bustling town of Chicago to the quiet paced Branson where Sue completed her schooling, graduating from Branson High School.
She married and became the proud mom of three children. Along with raising her children, she worked at Dick’s 5&10 and Hart’s Supermarket before embarking on a long and rewarding career in the banking industry.
Sue will be remembered for the great love she had – first for God and second for her family. She was a faithful member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Ozark and loved the fellowship of her church family.
Sue also enjoyed football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs. She kept up with the players and statistics for both the NFL and college football. She also was an avid reader of all types of genres.
Sue will be deeply missed by her family: children, Gene Call (Nancy) of Hollister, MO and Teresa Richmond (Danny Newell) of Nixa; grandchildren, Ryan Harris (Joy), Jared Harris (Alecia), Matthew Call, Brandon Call, Tyler Hawkins and Cory Hawkins (Bianca); nine great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Gloyd of Ozark; and many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of Sue’s life will be held at St. Matthews Episcopal Church at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2026. Burial will follow in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson under the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
