Sandra Jo Watkins, age 67, of Noel, MO
Sandra Jo Watkins, age 67, of Noel, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at Regency Hospital in Springdale, Arkansas.
She was born April 19, 1954 in Carthage, Missouri the daughter of William Frank and Alice (Clift) Myers. On May 27, 1971 in Carthage, Missouri she was united in marriage to David Watkins, who survives. Also surviving are one son, David Aaron Watkins of Anderson, Missouri; three daughters, Sandra Collier and her husband Adam of Anderson, Missouri, Misty Watkins of Cassville, Missouri and Norma Kirkpatrick and her husband Gerald of Eagle Rock, Missouri; seventeen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, Norma Lee Myers and Alice Watts and one grandson, Kaleb Kirkpatrick.
Sandra was a graduate of Carthage High School. After their marriage Sandra was a stay-at-home mother. She attended Afton Votech College and received a certificate of completion of Culinary. For several years she worked as a cook for several different restaurants and also managed convenience stores. She was a member of Church of Christ in Carthage. Some of her favorite pastimes were crocheting and cooking and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Jason Ponder will conduct the services. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Carthage, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. Monday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
