Lisa Lynn McElreath Harper, age 87, of Green Forest, Arkansas, passed away on January 15, 2026. She entered this life on July 23, 1938, in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Deryl and Imogene (Hunt) McElreath.
Throughout her life, Lisa demonstrated unwavering devotion to her Christian faith and frequently weathered the pages of many Bibles. She also appreciated biographies, valued time with her family, and enjoyed fine dining experiences. The memories and moments she shared will be remembered fondly by all who had the honor of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Deryl and Imogene McElreath; sister, Glyndon Anderson; son, Barton Paige Harper; and grandson, Caymen Craig Harper. Lisa is survived by her son, Darin (Judy) Harper; daughter, Kelly McElrath; seven grandchildren: Brittany Harper Fowler, Gabrielle Harper, Mackenzie Harper, Ellyn Stroud, Taylor Stroud, Heidi Gibson, and Hali Gibson; brother, Michael McElreath; and eight beautiful great-grandchildren; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial celebration will later be determined. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
