Larry Vernon Kalbfleisch, age 77, of Hollister, Missouri
Larry Vernon Kalbfleisch, age 77, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away December 10, 2023. He entered this life July 4, 1946, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, the son of Harvey and Arline (Williams) Kalbfleisch. He was joined in marriage August 26, 1966, to Nadine Gayle Foiles.
Larry worked as a custodian at Branson Schools from 1997 to 2016. Prior to that he carried on the Kalbfleisch family auto repair shop in South Haven Kansas while also serving as a deacon in the Christian Church. He enjoyed investing time with his grandchildren and working hard, helping others with his talents in welding, auto repair, and farming. Simplicity of life, such as reading, mowing, water skiing and having a bowl of ice-cream with a good movie was his common theme. Investing time with family and friends were some of his favorites in his life. Larry's love for the people close to him in his life was loud and proud. He will be greatly missed.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sharon Kay Byers.
His is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nadine Kalbfleisch; daughter, Kimberly (Mark) Zimmerman of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; son, Kurtis Kalbfleisch of Branson, Missouri; three grandchildren: Haley Zimmerman, Kole Zimmerman, and Mason Zimmerman; and many other friends and extended family.
