Joel Derrick Oliver, age 44, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away April 9, 2022. He entered this life on March 6, 1978, in Dallas, Texas, the son of William Oliver and Geneva Lewis-Weller. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Lewis; brother, Matt Oliver; and father, Bill Oliver.
A hardworking man, Joel thrived in his work as a contractor. He enjoyed floating down rivers, listening to Texas country music, and spending time with his family and friends. Joel will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
He is survived by his significant other of ten years, Desiree Adams, their children: Russell, Maddison, and Emily; his mother, Geneva Lewis-Weller of Mesquite, Texas; and sister, Melanie Martin of Houston, Texas.
