Elaine Rose Zinke, of Nixa, Missouri
Elaine Rose Zinke, of Nixa, Missouri, also McHenry, Illinois, and Chicago, Illinois, died September 29, 2023, after a short battle with cancer.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband George Oldrich Zinke; her father, Emil Vigansky; and her mother, Josephine (Hoffstader) Vigansky.
Elaine is survived by her sister, Loretta Polise (Vigansky); and her three children: Dr. Alan Zinke, Alane Fisher (Zinke), and Andrew Zinke, all from the Nixa, Missouri area.
Elaine enjoyed being with her family, fishing, visiting koi ponds, growing orchids, and most of all being with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Elaine was a breast cancer survivor and donated her time to assist others. She adored her neighbors in Nixa who took such great care of her.
There will be a private family memorial service on 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Redeemer Church, 911 West Mt. Vernon Street, Nixa, Missouri.
