Douglas Dwight “Doug” Catron, age 62, of Seligman, Missouri passed away December 11, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born September 13, 1963 in Warsaw, New York the son of Raymond and Helen (Carden) Catron, who survive. Also surviving are one daughter, Keisha Catron of Willard, Missouri; one brother, Donald Catron and his wife Kelly of Seligman, Missouri; one sister, Penny Hall and her husband Marty of Washburn, Missouri; one granddaughter, Lexi Brooks and one grand dog, Poodle.
Doug grew up in Seligman, Missouri and graduated from Southwest High School in Washburn, Missouri. He spent a couple years working on offshore pipelines before operating heavy equipment for pipeline companies across the country. Doug loved welding and often spent time in his shop building smokers or tinkering with various projects. He enjoyed deer hunting, gardening, and spending time with his close friends and family, especially his girls. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, Missouri. Pastor Ty Dawson will conduct the services. Burial will be at King Cemetery in Seligman, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
