Cheryl Hardy

Cheryl Hardy, age 52, passed away on March 2, 2026.

Cherished daughter, sister, and aunt, Cheryl Hardy passed too soon at the age of 52 in Galena, Missouri.  Cheryl was the youngest daughter of Bob and Georgia (Bailey) Holladay.  She was born on July 18, 1973 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Cheryl grew up with two older siblings and attended school at Wohlwend Elementary and then Oakville Junior High and High School.  Cheryl embarked on a career path in the medical field helping people get the services they needed in healthcare at the local Cox Hospital in the E.R. department.  

Cheryl’s achievements growing up included club softball, where she was a formidable opponent. Her interests included playing cards, fun times on the water, and caring for her cats. Her biggest passion all through her life was her love of animals, and the people she loved, she loved fiercely. 

Cheryl was preceded in her passing by her dear mother Georgia and leaves tears in the hearts of her father Bob, sister Christine Murray husband (Steve), brother Chad Holladay wife (Melissa), nieces and nephew Jessie Fulmer, Bailey Stocker,  Jacob Holladay,  Morgan Holladay, and Grace Stocker.  She will be missed by extended family and friends.

Services for Cheryl will take place on March 7, 2026 in the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home in Branson, Missouri at 3:30 p.m, and then at Dardenne Presbyterian Church in Dardenne Prairie, Missouri at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Cheryl’s honor may go to an animal shelter of the donor’s choice.
