Charles John Poziombka Sr., 83, passed away on November 16, 2025.
Charles John Poziombka Sr., 83, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away with his family by his side on November 16, 2025, at his home. He was born on January 27, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of John and Martha (Vogel) Poziombka.
Charles was a very benevolent Christian and belonged to the First Lutheran Church in Harrison. He was very active in the Lutheran church and always helped them with charity events. One of his big contributions was cooking and catering the events for the church. Since he had gone to culinary school, this was no hard task for him to complete. It was comforting to Charles, knowing that he was helping others.
Charles moved to Arkansas about 30 years ago, he loved spending time with his family. He even helped raise his grandchildren. Charles just wanted to help others in any way he could. One thing his family said about him is the fact that he really enjoyed eating! So, it probably was a good decision when he decided to become a chef.
He is preceded in death by his parents John and Martha and one grandson, CJ. Charles is survived by his daughter Sherri and husband Kevin Still, son Charles Jr., grandchildren Angel, Jazsmine, Sky, Rebecca, Elizabeth, and great grandchildren Wyatt, Braxtin and Serenity.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of Diamond State Cremation located in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
