Charles Alan Smith passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Sunday November 3, 2024. He was born in 1947 to James and Nell Smith.
He is survived by his loving wife Gloria; his children: Angie and Mike, son-in-law Tom; and his brother, Russell; and sister-in-law Patricia. He was known as “Papa” by his five adoring grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and Uncle Charles by his nieces and nephews.
We take comfort in knowing that he is rejoicing with his family in Heaven, catching up with his fellow Marines, and most likely in his waders catching his limit of trout.
