Benito Nunez-Franco, age 84, of Purdy, Missouri
Benito Nunez-Franco, age 84, of Purdy, Missouri passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Cox Health Monett Hospital in Monett, Missouri.
He was born March 21, 1937 in Durango, Mexico the son of Ladislado and Francisca (Franco) Nunez-Franco. In 1956 he was united in marriage to Leonides Nunez, who survives. Also surviving are eight sons, Bernabe, Alvaro, Tirso, Federico, Rene, Rafael, Ruben and Miguel; four daughters, Maria, Elva, Guadalupe and Ema; two brothers, Candelario and Domingo; three sisters, Maria, Martina and Antolina; forty-nine grandchildren and forty-nine great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one daughter, Francisca Nunez and one great granddaughter, Layla Mia.
Benito was a cattle farmer most of his life and was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church in Cassville.
Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at St. Edward Catholic Church in Cassville under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Father William Hodgson will conduct the services.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Monday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
