Missouri's Amateur Golf's Men's Championship is decided in the Lakes Region last weekend.
The Missouri State Amateur Golf Championships completed a six-day competition at Payne's Valley south of Hollister Sunday afternoon with Peter Weaver of St. Louis taking home the championship taking the 36 Hole Championship Match over Michael Winslow of Overland Park, Kansas.
According to the recap from the Missouri Golf Association, Winslow secured the championship with a birdie on the 33rd hole to claim the championship.
The tournament begin with two rounds of stroke play followed by four days of match play ending with the title match on Sunday.
