Friday will feature postseason games for a team and two individuals from Lakes Area Schools.
The Branson Lady Pirate Softball team will play for their first District Championship this afternoon at 4:30 at Springfield Glendale High School as they will take on Camdenton. Both teams won 8-7 games in the semi-finals on Wednesday, Branson over West Plains and Camdenton over Glendale. The winner will host a game in the Class 4 Quarterfinals next week.
Meanwhile the Tennis Doubles Team of Kenzie Calhoun and Emmy Blevins from Forsyth are playing in the Class 1 State Doubles Competition in Springfield at the Cooper Tennis Complex. The duo is one of 16 teams competing in the two-day event.
