The High School Basketball season, already well underway in Arkansas, is in week two in Missouri.
A recap of highlights from MOARK Teams:
Harrison
The Lady Goblins early in the season finished third at the Clinton Tournament beating Valley Springs in the third place game. The Lady Goblins are now 4-3 after dropping a 63-37 contest in the BIlly Ply Classic at Flippin to Bergman.
The Goblins played their first four games minus several players due to the Goblin Football Playoff run. After finishing 1-3 in that stretch of games, the Goblins opened play in the Willard Tournament Thursday dropping a 68-47 contest Wednesday to Bolivar. The Goblins are back in action at Willard today as they take on Springfield Glendale.
NOTE: Harrison Goblin Basketball returns to MOARK Sports and 94.9 KHOZ next week, as the Goblins play at Branson on Tuesday then the following Tuesday, when the Lady Goblins host the Branson Lady Pirates.
Branson
The Pirates opened their 2025-26 season with a win over Hollister in the opening round of the Forsyth Tournament on Wednesday 84-41. They Pirates will play Lebanon in the pool play this evening at 6:00.
The Lady Pirates opened their season last week with a win at Cassville then have played at the Fair Grove Tournament this week, beating the host school on Tuesday then defeating Glendale in the semi-finals Thursday 50-43. The Pirates will play in the tournament championship game this evening against Logan-Rogersville.
Forsyth
The Panthers opened their annual tournament Wednesday with a win over the Missouri Warriors Home School Team 66-32. The Panthers take on Carl Junction in pool play this evening at 7:30.
The Lady Panther season started in the Blue Eye Girls Tournament with losses to Reeds Spring and Spokane. The Lady Panthers will open their home schedule next week with contests Tuesday against Lockwood and Thursday vs. Marionville.
Reeds Spring
The Lady Wolves are playing for the Blue Eye Tournament Championship tonight against Berryville. This follows Lady Wolves wins earlier this week against Forsyth and Aurora. The Lady Wolves started the season with wins over Green Forest and Spokane.
The Wolves have started the season 0-2 with losses to Green Forest and McDonald County. Reeds Spring is off this week but will resume their season next week with a Tuesday home contest against Diamond.
Hollister
The Tigers picked up a win opening week against Spokane around an opening night loss to Miller and losses to Lebanon and Branson at the Forsyth Tournament. The Tigers will wrap-up action in the tournament Saturday at 4:00 in the Consolation Final against the Missouri Warriors.
The Lady Tigers are 1-2 after an opening loss to Miller followed by a win against Blue Eye. This week, the Lady Tigers are playing in the Crane Tournament and lost their opening game to Cassville 66-30 and now will play Exeter in consolation play tonight.
Blue Eye
The Lady Bulldogs are playing Spokane in the consolation final of their tournament this afternoon at 5:00 after beating the Reeds Spring JV team in the consolation semi-final on Thursday. The Lady Bulldogs opened the season with losses to Hollister and an opening round tournament loss to Sparta.
The Bulldogs are 3-1 including a second place finish at the Verona Classic. The Bulldogs only game this week 65-47 win over Fordland avenging a loss to the Eagles in the Verona Final. The Bulldogs host School of the Ozarks next week.
