The Branson Pirate Boys and Girls Track teams made the trip to Springfield this past weekend to take part in the Class 5 District Meet hosted by Parkview High School.
The Pirates finished fourth in the boys competition while the Lady Pirates took home a third place team finish in the girls standings.
Branson athletes won four individual District Championships:
Alexis Carter (Girls 800 & 1600 Meter Runs)
Peyton Bough (Long Jump)
Hunter Reynolds (110 Meter Hurdles)
The Pirates will send 20 athletes to the Class 5 Sectional Meet in Waynesville this Saturday with the top four finishers in each event moving on to the Class 5 State Meet the following weekend in Jefferson City.
