The Branson Basketball teams will enter the Holiday Basketball Tournaments coming off of wins.
For the Boys, the Pirates ended a three game losing streak with a pair of wins, knocking off Cassville Monday before holding off Monett 66-59 on Thursday. Branson, 5-3, will take on Ava in the first round of the Blue and Gold Tournament Tuesday afternoon at 5:00 at Missouri State University.
Meanwhile, the 6-2 Lady Pirates finished off their pre-Christmas schedule last week with a win over Lebanon, after going 2-1 in both their Battle at the Boarder Tournament and at the Freeman Classic in Joplin. The Lady Pirates will have one of the toughest match-ups in the first round of the Pink and White Lady Classic next Wednesday at Drury University taking on undefeated Aurora.
