A local businessman announced he is launching his campaign to replace a Branson alderman, who recently announced he won’t be seeking a third term.
Alex Williams, owner of Gettin’ Floor’d, announced his intention to fill the seat in Branson’s Ward I being vacated by incumbent Marshall Howden.
“Branson isn’t just my home,” Williams said in his announcement. “It’s my heart. From my years serving as a helicopter pilot in the Missouri National Guard, to my time as an instructor of patriotic education at College of the Ozarks, to my current role as a local business owner, and through my service on the Branson/Lakes Area Tourism Community Enhancement District (TCED) Board, the Finance Committee, and the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Commission, I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand how our community operates, grows, and serves those it is duty-bound to represent.”
