The National Weather Service says scattered showers will begin to move through the Lakes Region over the next few days.
No major rain pattern is expected but some showers could pop up this evening with several 4th of July Fireworks celebrations scheduled to take place in the Lakes Region. The current forecast has a 30-40% chance of rain for tonight though most forecasts still have the best chance of rain happening after midnight.
Rain chances continue into Sunday with a frontal system that will give the Ozarks a break from the heat. The Heat Advisory in effect for the Missouri Ozarks will end this evening.
