12th drowning of the year in Southwest Missouri’s Troop D.
A three-year-old boy from Nixa drowned in Table Rock Lake Sunday evening. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol Water Division, the child went unattended and was later discovered floating the swim area of Mill Creek in Stone County. He was transported to Cox Branson hospital where he was pronounced dead. This was the 12th drowning of the year in Southwest Missouri’s Troop D.
