Several events are on the agenda for Day 3 of the Veterans Homecoming Week.
This morning, Mel’s Hard Luck Diner is hosting a Sandbox Party for those who served in the Gulf War or after while Westgate Resort will be the site for both the U.S. Navy Memorial Service this morning and the Medics, Nurses, and Combat Vets Mini Reunion this afternoon. American Inn is hosting the Homefront Hero's Spouses Salute this afternoon.
Among the activities Saturday are Women Veterans Rose Pedal Ceremony at Westgate and the World War II and Korean War Veterans Reunion at American Inn.
The Veterans Village remains open daily at Ballparks of America and Legends 1063 will host a Live Broadcast from the village Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon with a portion of that broadcast also airing on Harrison’s Original KHOZ 94.9.
