UPDATE: Francine stays East, Minimizes Impact on Lakes Region

While some areas of the Ozarks may still see some heavy rain from Hurricane Francine, the chances of widespread rain in the Lakes Region have diminished. 

Francine has moved further east, now making landfall in Louisiana and Mississippi then moving through eastern parts of Arkansas and southeast Missouri. 

Even though the center of the storm will be to the east, the Lakes Region will still see some effects from the storm including increased cloud cover and decreasing temperatures, with highs in the upper 70s to around 80 for Thursday and Friday before temperatures go back up on Saturday. Scattered showers are still possible, primarily on Thursday.
