Several agencies join the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District in working a single vehicle crash near Reeds Spring.
According to a post on the district's Facebook page, around 8:00 Tuesday morning crews were joined by personnel from the Reeds Spring Police Department, Stone County Sherriff's Office, Mercy Emergency Services, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol in working the crash on Old Wilderness Road.
The report indicates that two people were trapped in the vehicle and were extricated and flown by helicopters to Springfield for treatment of their injuries.
The accident required the road to be totally shutdown for a while as crews worked the scene.
The crash is under investigation by the Missouri State Highway Patrol according to the post.
