The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports only one accident on area lakes this past weekend.
The incident occurred Sunday night around 9:45 at Virgin Bluff in Cape Fair when the driver of a boat failed to see a rock outcropping and struck it.
The driver and two other people, all from the Kansas City area, sustained minor injuries due to the crash. None sought medical treatment.
