Thousands of baby infant swings recalled due to suffocation hazards

(WTAJ) — Over 60,000 baby infant swings have been recalled over a suffocation hazard due to a safety regulation violation.

About 63,100 Jool Baby’s Nova Baby infant swings have been recalled. Marketed for infant sleep, the recalled swings violate the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s Infant Sleep Products Regulation and the Safe Sleep for Babies Act because they “have an incline angle greater than 10 degrees.” They also don’t carry required sleep warnings.

Currently, there have been no reported injuries.

The recalled swings, made from June 2022 to September 2023, are 28 inches long, 19 inches wide and 24 inches, with a round aluminum base with music buttons on the front. They run on AAA batteries or an AC adaptor and can be operated with an included remote control.
