The Future of Money

Transactions are sometimes slow, and fees can seem numerous, but the future moves closer to speed and affordability.

Ian Reynolds appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" to talk about the future of the US dollar and cryptocurrency. Blockchain, according to him, is part of that future. It's open source, tracks transactions and is used in a variety of areas. He also highlighted Bitcoin.

Reynolds pointed out that Bitcoin speeds up transactions. Technologies like that make it easy to make instant payments.

It's different from the current central banking network. "It's more independent, it's more open [and] it's more free," Reynolds said.

The caveat is that there's a lot that's unknown because it's still under development.

Later, Reynolds talked about concerns about a cashless world. Currently, the nonprofit-made technology is being shown as an opt in to international companies More was discussed on the broadcast.

The full interview with Reynolds is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
