An effort that started as an opportunity to develop classical music opportunities has grown into an annual event in the Lakes Region.
The 11th Season of the Taneycomo Festival Orchestra begins a two-week run next week with concerts at both First Presbyterian Church in Branson and at Hollister High School.
Larkin Sanders, the founder and director of TFO, says during an interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program that she her goal was to give her an opportunity to use her classical music skills in her home region and from there, has evolved into an annual event that attracts musicians from around the nation. Sanders also says a loyal group of patrons not only attend the events but help make financial and resource contributions to the organization.
