Did the Storms That Hit the Lakes Region Over the Weekend Spawn Tornadoes?

The National Weather Service has confirmed a pair of tornadoes briefly touched down in the Lakes Region Saturday night. 

The report indicates both tornadoes were EF-0 twisters that were on the ground in Barry County. 

One tornado struck near Capps Creek and was on the ground for five miles before lifting south of Monett. Maximum winds were at 85 MPH.
The other tornado hit an area near Butterfield and was on the ground for around two miles before lifting with maximum winds also 85 MPH.
Some tree and building damage was reported but no injuries. 

The same storm later drifted south into Carroll and Madison Counties but so far no reports of a tornado touchdown have been reported.
