Taney County Health Department Moving Down the Road in Forsyth

The Taney County Health Department's Forsyth location will move to a different building in the same area next year.

According to a release from the department, the Forsyth location will move to a building at 15695 Highway 160, just a couple of blocks east of their current location.

TCHD Director Lisa Marshall says in the release, "TCHD looks forward to a new location that will better meet the needs of our staff and 
community. “We will still provide the same level of quality service in a new, purposeful, and streamlined space.”

The release adds that services will continue at the current location while the new building is being prepared for the move. The department expects to have a grand opening at the new facility in 2026.
