Taney County Health Department Hires Spanish/English Bilingual Liaison

The Taney County Health Department announces the hiring of a staff member to help with bilingual communications.

According to a release from the Health Department, Omar Perez Rivera began working in this new position in August. Rivera is available to the Hispanic and Latinx communities to help with translations while receiving services at the Health Department. 

Rivera will also be working with community organizations on public education to the services and programs of the health department. 

“I am grateful to be working in a position where I am able to give back to the community that I have lived most of my life and has given me so much.” Rivera says in the press release.
