Storm Debris Drop-Off for Branson, Taney County Residents

Area government agencies are making areas available for those needing to drop off tree branches and limbs and other yard waste generated after the latest round of storms.

The City of Branson will again open an area around the Cooper Creek Wastewater Plant on Fall Creek Road for drop-off this Friday and Saturday from 7 am to Noon. As with the previous drop-off, the service is for Branson residents only and not for commercial vendors according to a release from the city.

Meanwhile, residents of Taney County will have an opportunity to drop off storm debris next week. County Road and Bridge Administrator Devin Huff tells Ozarks Dynnacom that the drop off will be the week of the 7th from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm off of Birmingham Road around the Fair Grounds near Forsyth. For more information on the Taney County Drop-off site, contact Road and Bridge at 417-546-7268.

Both the City of Branson and Taney County Locations are accepting only limbs, brush, and other vegetation that was damaged in the recent storms.
