Elevate Branson had a strong turnout for its 18th annual Thanksgiving Day lunch, according to founder Bryan Stallings.
Stallings talked about that during his Monday appearance on KRZK's "The Up Side" with Josh Clark. He said the turnout was normal because there 400 to 500 people between guests and volunteers. There was uncertainty about the impact of the developments with SNAP benefits, but the event was successful.
He said Famous Dave's catered a smoked turkey. Stallings added that he thinks the restaurant has catered for Elevate Branson's Thanksgiving lunch for close to 15 years.
Later, Stallings talked about what the Elevate Branson will do in January. He explained that the lunch program and the Elevate Work program will start. He said the program helps anyone struggling to hold a job and also supports employers.
The full interview with Stallings is available at "The Up Side with Josh & Them" Facebook page.
