Applications for Skaggs Foundation scholarships are due soon, according to a Facebook post by the foundation.
Applicants have until March 21 to get all that scholarship work done. Skaggs took an opportunity to express excitement about the chance to fund students' education.
"We are proud to offer scholarships to local students pursuing an education in health care because we know these students are vital to ensuring excellent health care for future generations," the post states. The organization encouraged interested and qualified students to apply.
The foundation's website has additional information about the scholarship program.
