National Weather Service Forecasters say there is an increased risk of severe weather developing on Saturday in the Lakes Region.
Areas generally south and east of a line between Branson and Green Forest are at a Level 3 Enhanced Risk while areas north and west of that line are at a Level 2 Slight Risk.
Large hail and damaging winds are the primary threats, especially in areas of the Enhanced Risk. Mid-afternoon to early evening Saturday appears to be the time most of the storms will move through the region.
Temperatures will drop with high’s only in the upper 50’s Sunday but rebound into the 70’s again by Monday with gusty winds returning on Sunday as well.
