Weather Forecasters say today is the best chance for storms to turn severe in the lakes region.
The National Weather Service indicates that storms capable of producing hail, strong winds, and a few tornados will make their way through the region this evening and early Saturday morning.
Some areas of heavy rain are possible though the heaviest rain is currently predicted for areas north of the Lakes Region.
This system will knock the temperatures down in the region over the weekend into the 60s for highs Saturday then back to the 70s for Sunday.
