A traffic crash in Kimberling City sends two people to the hospital with injuries and blocks traffic.
According to reports from the Kimberling City Police Department and Southern Stone County Fire Protection District, the head-on crash occurred on Highway 13 near Heavens Way. One driver was trapped in a vehicle for several minutes before being extricated. Two patients were transported from the scene, one to a local hospital and another by helicopter to a Springfield hospital.
The Kimberling City Police Department is investigating the crash.
