Salvation Army Extends Application Period for Christmas Assistance

Salvation Army Branson has extended the deadline for Christmas Assistance registration until next Monday.

Lisa Roberson of the Salvation Army Branson says during an interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program that applications can be made in person to the Salvation Army location on Stanley Street today and Friday between 10 am and 3 pm and next Monday from 10-5. The goal is to make sure families can have Christmas Presents for all young family members ages infant to 17. The gift distribution day will be on done as a "Toy Shop" on December 16.

The Salvation Army CHRISTMAS ASSISTANCE sign-ups for Stone and Taney Counties has been extended until Monday, November 22.   AGES 0-17  (Infant -12th grade)
Registration will be done in-person only at:
The Salvation Army 
1114 Stanley Blvd., Branson, Mo.
Please be sure you have all required ID's and documentation with you, otherwise we will not be able to process you application. 
The Salvation Army does participate in the local clearing house to prevent duplication. Families who duplicate services will unfortunately be disqualified from receiving services.
Schedule for registration is:
Monday 10:00am- 5:00pm 
Tuesday 10:00am-3:00pm
Wednesday 10:00am-5:00pm
Thursday 10:00am-3:00pm
Friday 10:00am-3:00pm
Please be sure you have ALL required ID's and documentation with you, otherwise we will not be able to process you application.  
Required items:
1) Photo ID for head of household
    NOTE:  Head of household is custodial parent or court ordered
                legal guardian
2) Identifying documents for entire household
(last four digits of SS#, birth certificate, insurance card,
school registration)
3) Proof of residency (utility bill, lease, etc.)
4) Custody/Foster papers if applicable
5) Proof of all monthly household income 
This year we will be offering toys through our Angel Tree Toy Shop and/or Taney County Shop With A Hero. Those previously involved in Shop With A Hero will attend our Toy Shop!
