Some areas of the Lakes Region gets some light rain for Mother's Day with the next chance for general rain coming on Monday.
The National Weather Service is overall expecting a dry week coming up but Monday does see a chance of showers and thunderstorms off and on during the day with highs in the 70s. The rest of the week into Friday looks warm with temperatures into the 80s approaching 90 before the end of the week.
Forecasters do expect the next system to makes its way into the Ozarks next weekend with rain chances to increase and the potential for the return of severe weather.
