While most of the rain has moved out of the Lakes Region, some flood issues will continue to impact area roads and streams.
The Flood Warnings from the Lakes Region Counties of Barry, Stone, Taney, and Ozark will be in effect until 8:00 this evening. The National Weather Service also reports Flood Warnings for areas of the James River around Boaz and Galena where river levels are expected to rise just above Flood Stage over the next 24 hours causing some minor flooding.
Some highways are still closed in the region due to flood waters along with some secondary roads around the region.
Rainfall amounts reported to the weather service includes over three inches in areas between Jasper and Marshall in northern Arkansas while many areas in southern Missouri reports two to three inches of rain.
The weather will warm quickly over the weekend with no rain in the forecast until the middle of next week.
