The release below from the Missouri Public Service Commission:

The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved a request filed by The Empire District Electric Company d/b/a Liberty to adjust the Demand Side Programs Investment Mechanism (DSIM) charge on customer bills. A residential customer using 1,046 kWh (kilowatt-hours) of electricity a month will see the charge decrease by approximately $0.38 a month effective July 1, 2023.

Liberty serves approximately 159,400 electric customers in the Missouri counties of Barry, Barton, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Greene, Hickory, Jasper, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton, Polk, St. Clair, Stone and Taney.
