Pamela Yancey Named Next President/CEO of the Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce

A person who has led an area bank will be the next President/CEO of the Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce/CVB.

Cynthia Carson, General Manager, Sight & Sound Theatres, and Chairperson of the Board, Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau, is pleased to announce that Pamela J. Yancey will be joining the organization as the new President/CEO. 

“We had a thorough hiring process and believe that Pam Yancey is a wonderful fit for the role,” stated Carson. “Her leadership, business experience and perspective will go a long way toward continuing the success of our community.” 

Currently Community Bank President for Arvest Bank in the Tri Lakes Area, Yancey has 30+ years of banking experience in Branson and southwest Missouri. She has held several positions in her banking career including Branch Management, Commercial Lending, Regional Director of Insurance products, and Regional Sales Director before accepting the role of Community Bank President more than 11 years ago. 

Pam Yancey has a proven passion for serving her community and volunteers on many boards and committees for local nonprofits and civic organizations, including City of Branson Finance Committee; United Way of the Ozarks Board member and Executive Committee; Boys & Girls Club of the Ozarks – Board member and the 2023 Chair; Taney County Partnership Board member and Executive Committee; Branson Chamber/CVB Board member and Executive Committee and CoxBranson Medical Center Board member.

Pam and her husband, Danny, enjoy living on their farm and spending time with their children and grandchildren.  

Per the Branson Chamber/CVB board policy, Jonas Arjes, Executive Vice President/Chief Economic Development Officer, assumed the role as President/CEO during the interim. “Many thanks to the board and Branson business community for the overwhelming support for our staff over the last 8 months. I’m looking forward to fully focusing on the Taney County Partnership and economic development while welcoming Pam Yancey to the incredible team we have.”

After leaving her position with Arvest Bank, Pam Yancey’s first day on the job will be Dec. 4, 2023.
