BRANSON, Mo – The City of Branson’s Utilities Department will begin the process to renovate and clean the Pacific St. water tower, located at 616 W. Pacific St. on March 10, 2023, by draining the tower of its water over the weekend.
This complete renovation will include interior and exterior cleaning, a fresh coat of paint and updating the City logo. While draining will begin on March 10, the renovation starts on March 14 and will take 30 to 45 days to complete. The parking lot will be closed during this time and there will be limited access to the tower.
This is part of the Department’s Annual Tower Maintenance program which will see two towers renovated a year over the next three years. The City has eight total water towers. The tower located at 2028 W. 76 Country Blvd is slated to be next.
Some customers in the area of the Pacific St. tower may see a slight water pressure decline of around eight PSI. Local businesses that may be impacted have been notified.
